Those with Private Health Insurance will enjoy the value and convenience of instant claiming. Patients eligible for funding under the Veteran’s Health Program, and the Child Dental Benefit Scheme will be bulk billed.

With over 30 years of experience across Australia, New Zealand, and India, Dr Upma Bhasin brings warmth, calm and deep expertise to every appointment. As the most experienced dentist at Grand Plaza Dental, she’s known for her gentle chairside manner and her ability to make patients feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for.
Dr Upma provides a full range of general dental services, with a particular interest in aesthetic and restorative care such as veneers, crowns, and full mouth rehabilitation. She has also completed extensive training in cosmetic, implant, digital, and root canal dentistry - allowing her to offer modern, high-quality treatments tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Hailing from Iran, she speaks both English and Farsi, and has been a pillar of our practice since its inception.
Her impressive credentials include a dentistry degree from Tehran University, obtained in 2016, along with her membership in the Australian Dental Board. Dr. Vanousheh is deeply passionate about alleviating pain and providing top-notch dental care to her patients.
Her expertise is matched by her diverse interests, which span sports, music, books, travel, and maintaining a fit lifestyle.

Dr Jeremy Teo is a dentist who is passionate about educating patients on their oral health and helping them achieve their desired smile.
He enjoys being able to interact with a wide variety of people, and is always happy to make time for a good conversation. In particular, Dr Jeremy prides himself in his ability to make anxious patients feel comfortable in the chair.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University and has worked in various locations in Queensland including Cairns, Rockhampton, Toowoomba. Dr Jeremy regularly attends dental courses to further his knowledge and is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Outside of work, Dr Jeremy enjoys playing tennis and enjoys spending time with his two dogs.
