With over 30 years of experience across Australia, New Zealand, and India, Dr Upma Bhasin brings warmth, calm and deep expertise to every appointment. As the most experienced dentist at Grand Plaza Dental, she’s known for her gentle chairside manner and her ability to make patients feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for.

Dr Upma provides a full range of general dental services, with a particular interest in aesthetic and restorative care such as veneers, crowns, and full mouth rehabilitation. She has also completed extensive training in cosmetic, implant, digital, and root canal dentistry – allowing her to offer modern, high-quality treatments tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Her approach is always personal. Whether you’re nervous, in pain, or simply looking to improve your smile, Dr Upma takes the time to listen and explain. Outside the clinic, she enjoys nature walks, cooking, and spending time with loved ones – always bringing a warm, thoughtful presence to everything she does.

Dr Shekinah Grace Divya Philip 

BDS, MDS

Dr Shekinah Philip completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai, India. After moving to Australia, she completed the Australian Dental Council exams and is registered as a general dentist.

While she has a special interest in Oral Surgery, she also values preventive and restorative dentistry that supports long term oral health.

Dr Philip is committed to patient centred care and to helping patients understand the importance of oral health. She is fluent in English, Tamil, and can understand Hindi at a functional level. Outside the clinic, she enjoys exploring Australia’s natural landscapes through bush walks and short hikes.
